Based on the brochure on the website, I expected a more personalized welcome. While the rooms are decent and clean, the style and decor lack warmth.

When I'm traveling in the Orléans area, I regularly book this hotel because we receive a warm welcome and the rooms are spacious. The only downside is that parking near the hotel is a gamble!

The hotel is quite nicely decorated, but there's no soundproofing on the hallway wall; you can hear everything happening on the other side of your room. The floor isn't level. The bathroom looks like it was done by a weekend handyman, with the shower sloped the wrong way, so you have to shower quickly or risk wading through water when you get out. Breakfast has too few choices and is of mass-produced quality.

I stayed one night at the Hôtel des Cèdres in Orléans. I received a very warm welcome upon arrival, and everything was explained clearly, except for a small surprise not mentioned during the booking process: a €50 deposit was requested. I think it's a shame the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, and I found the breakfast rather limited in terms of choice. There was also a significant problem with soundproofing; I could hear my neighbor snoring as if we were in the same room, and movement in the hallway/upstairs was also disruptive. Finally, there were no bottled water available; you had to go down to the ground floor to refill the carafe in your room. Otherwise, the bed was very comfortable, the room was spotless, and the staff was very pleasant.

The welcome was friendly and professional. The establishment is well-maintained, clean, and modern. The breakfast is light but adequate. However, I was freezing! The room was icy cold when I arrived (I'd say 15 degrees Celsius, no more), and despite manually increasing the heating myself—I didn't take my socks off until around 4 a.m.

Very good, beautiful spaces and excellent service. Close to the city center. However, the snow and sub-zero temperatures made the building cold, as its exterior walls are not insulated. The room felt cold despite the heating. I needed a second duvet from the closet.

The location is good, but the way you can get a discounted parking rate is inconvenient. Also, the pillows are all the same: thin and firm. It would be wise to offer two different types of pillows. I slept very poorly.

We took a "comfort" room. Indeed, it was very quiet... from the outside. But poorly soundproofed with uncarpeted floors; so we could hear every movement and noise from the room above. Furthermore, for the first time, we were asked for a 50 euro deposit. We understand why. But there are probably other ways to make unscrupulous guests pay for their damage. For others, including us, this gives a bad impression of distrust.

There is no parking, although it was clearly stated when I booked. Upon arrival, I was told there was free parking on the street, which was not the case, having looked for a space for 15 minutes without finding one.

I have to pay a deposit of 50€ which I do not get back at check-out but I have to wait until the hotel wants to give it back or not. This is not acceptable. A deposit ok but then it has to be given back at check out. I never experienced this. Last time at a campground I got it back at check-out.
At the car rental we check together, but here I am fully dependent on what you want to decide!

Disappointing. Apart from the breakfast (inexpensive and good quality) and the beauty of the garden which are qualitative. The room (small mattresses of poor quality), the insulation (noise), the small bathroom without facilities for a room of 4 adults, the services did not convince us. We will not return.

The hotel was very well localized, very clean and convenient and people were great. However the room we received had a huge flaw, it was incredibly hot, without good windows to open, nor air conditioning. There were 2 fans but it was really insufficient.

No air conditioning in the room, I couldn't sleep. And at breakfast I only had leftovers knowing that I arrived at 7:30 a.m. Otherwise I really liked breakfast in the hotel garden, it's soothing, the total calm.

It is clearly stated on our website that the establishment does not have air conditioning and indeed we had very hot weather in Orleans on that date, which is nevertheless exceptional.
In fact, the hotel is not air-conditioned, we have installed fans in all the rooms and we have some available if needed.
A fresh, filtered water fountain is also available at reception.
We are truly sorry that our service was not satisfactory.
However, I draw your attention to the breakfast of 02-07-2025.
We had a group and I was there to make sure everything was going well and I could see that nothing was missing.
The buffet was restocked until 9:30 at the end of service and it is important to us every day that our customers are served generously from the beginning to the end of service.

unfortunately has the lady who has been working on13th of June (arround 13h-14h) and on 14th of June at the breakfast no service orientation at all.... she told us very unfriendly what is not possible...without asking for it....... we fiel not welcomed at all..... this is unfortunaly no way to get customer satiefied.... your competitors at Hotel Oceania are doing much better!!!! sorry to be so open... kind regards....

Je recommande sans hésitation ! Le lieu est superbe, relaxer dans le jardin fut un réel plaisir, c'était très tranquille, c'est un des beaux hôtels que j'ai eu durant mes 16 jours de vacances. Un air conditionné aurait été bienvenue, mais je comprends que c'est peut-être difficile à installer dans des bâtiments anciens. À propos du stationnement, j'ai été chanceuse d'avoir une place juste en avant.

During breakfast: a sticky table to which even the paper white napkin stuck. France famous for its legendary baguette even this was missing. Present in the breakfast room at 09.00 even the rolls were not replenished. Staff during breakfast moderately friendly. Parking facilities: nil (you have to leave your vehicle with luggage on the public road)

It's a LIE. They say they have parking. It's 3 blocks away, and they only acknowledge half the price. We paid them half, and they gave us a ticket to get the car out, which didn't work. We had to pay the full amount at the parking lot, and the receptionist didn't acknowledge it and got angry when we complained. This is NOT how guests are treated! The check-in lady was very friendly, but the check-out lady was very rude. It's a shame because I would have given the hotel a 10.

We would like to clarify that we do not have private parking at the hotel. We recommend our guests use the public parking lot at the media library, approximately 300 meters from the hotel. The ticket allows parking for 15 hours. However, it must be used correctly at the parking lot's ATM.
It's important that these tickets be validated correctly at the parking machine. We sincerely apologize if this wasn't clear enough or if an error occurred.
Regarding your exchange with our front desk, we take your feedback very seriously. Customer service is a priority for us, and we will review the situation internally to better manage these types of situations in the future.

Old hotel that has been redecorated. Spacious and clean rooms. Good breakfast. Well located near the train station. However, the bike-friendly label is surprising: you have to go through the entrance hall by climbing some stairs to store your bike in a small room that can only accommodate 6 bikes. Not practical at all.

I was very disappointed with this very "old-fashioned" hotel: the stairs are very narrow (not very practical in a hotel since you have to move around with suitcases), the key is difficult to insert into the door, once the door is unlocked you really have to push very very hard for it to open, the bathroom is not very pleasant and the breakfast is not much better. One thing is certain, I do not recommend this hotel at all and I will not return.

Nice, clean, and well-appointed room with simple, pleasant decor. No parking. The street is residential, and parking nearby is difficult. A public underground parking garage is quite close. The bathroom is quite small, but the good-sized shower makes up for it.

Very professional and pleasant receptionist. The shower would benefit from a screen and not a curtain which makes the bath mat soaked when you get out (not pleasant at all). It's also a shame about the lack of parking.

The hotel is quite good, although for the price the rooms are quite small. The downside is the heating, although I had it on full blast the room was freezing until I got a space heater which kept giving out electric shocks from time to time. Other than that, a good stay.

petit déjeuner à partir de 7h le personnel arrive à 7h et rien n'est prêt, il a fallu attendre 25minutes pour avoir un café d'une Senseo qui ressemblait plus à un thé tellement il y avait d'eau pour une capsule. En complément un morceau de pain avec le coeur encore congelé !

Very warm welcome. Very clean room in a good area. Unfortunately, the hotel is poorly insulated between floors, and as soon as someone moves in the room above it makes the room shake and makes a lot of noise. It lacks a few amenities, such as a large mirror, a kettle, or even a small piece of furniture in the bathroom to put your clothes on. But overall, the stay was very good.

I initially had a comfort room which is actually a normal room considering the rate applied 117 including tax. Then I moved to a standard room (at my request for reasons of rate and availability) 97 including tax which is not standard with a shower with an unclosed tray which left the bathroom flooded as well as my room. In addition, no satellite channels, in short the minimum not up to the rate.
