Aging hotel but well located and quiet

Decent hotel with friendly staff. Comfortable room and bed. However, there is no restaurant on site (but there are more or less interesting restaurants within 200 m). Also, the air conditioning is noisy, which is a problem for sleeping peacefully during very hot spells. The hotel knows this and needs to have it "repaired"... but if we had known, we probably would have chosen another hotel.
One-night stay in a beautiful village of Rochemaure, very clean hotel, welcoming and smiling staff. Very good breakfasts with local products. Excellent value for money. The only downside is the insulation, the building is a bit dated if there is noise from outside it can become annoying for light sleepers. Very nice experience, congratulations to the team.

We loved this hotel and the couple who run it. We received a lovely welcome for our stop off night on the way back to Paris, never stayed there before but what a gem and great value for money. Pets are welcome for a small fee. Room was very spacious and clean with a very large comfortable bed with plenty of electricity sockets either side. Very modern and clean bathroom with good shower and separate toilet, there was more than enough room for all of us. Small parking area outside but plenty of other parking available nearby if full. The village is stunning as the skyline is dominated by the castle which looks amazing at night as it’s beautifully illuminated. Not many restaurants open on a Sunday, so we drove 8 minutes to the nearest town Montelimar where everything was open and was equally calm and pleasant and it was really romantic to walk the streets after our meal, the town is very charming and we could have easily spent more time in the area. If we are in the area again it is where we would want to stay, probably more so than where we actually went on vacation………

I have stayed at this hotel several times and have never been disappointed. The location is ideal for a vacation with a beautiful view, a relaxing terrace for a drink, and a great breakfast with local and homemade products.

Very pleasant hotel, clean, well-maintained and nicely decorated. The staff is very responsive and accommodating. The breakfast, simple but with good local products, was very pleasant. The location is perfect with a beautiful view of Rochemaure Castle.
The pictures on Booking.com promised me a cozy hotel with a feel-good atmosphere. We were disappointed because, although the rooms and bathrooms were renovated or partially renovated, the hallway and the room itself, for example, had an ancient carpet, the lighting was dim, and the hallway felt like it was from the 1950s. Yes, it had been renovated, but it seemed very unprofessional and homemade. The hotel gave us the impression of an old youth hostel. The hotel is very soundproof; you could overhear conversations in the hallway word for word, and you could clearly hear the toilet flushing, shower, and especially the hairdryer in the neighboring rooms. However, the staff was very friendly, and the mattresses were very comfortable.
Perfect hotel for a night stay (or a couple of nights). We were travelling with two families with children on our way back home. I would surely recommend the hotel. Rooms were clean, hosts were kind and hospitable.
Very good hotel for a one-night stay. Some improvements could be made: providing a kettle for tea and herbal teas (the water in the coffee machine isn't ideal), removing the carpet from the room floor. Lack of shutters or exterior blinds to protect the windows from the sun.
