Very good overall. The only slight drawback is that the windows need cleaning.
Warm comfortable hotel, good food and friendly professional staff
The only downside was the empty shower gel and unemptied bathroom bin.
We often stay at this hotel as we know we are guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome and great service. The food in the restaurant is always superb and it didn’t disappoint this time.

A small step before the unlit room. The light didn't work. Another on the doorstep of the room, very problematic. No shelf in the bathroom to put the vanity. No shelves in the shower for soap and shampoo... Too bad. Not much choice of channels on TV

Hello, A friendly welcome and quality food. A superior room, very good bedding but toilets that did not work as well as the absence of lighting above the sink. Apparently recurring problems (room 301,) Kind regards
The hotel is well located, pretty and charming. The staff was pleasant. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our stay. The room was unusual and comfortable, however the bathroom was difficult to use: very low ceiling, temperamental flushing, and a very narrow shower with a shower curtain that needed to be completely replaced. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the food. Our dinner did not live up to our expectations, with a wait of over 45 minutes between courses, without the slightest word or apology, followed by flavorless dishes and desserts.
Group dining noisily in a small room with no view and poor soundproofing...
The restaurant food evening and breakfast very good. However, room round back via road walk was unbearably hot with tiny Velux window and fan not able to alleviate heat problem. Plugs hanging from lead from wall seemed a bit dodgy. Nice bathroom
On arrival we were warmly greeted, assisted with luggage and helped to find our room.
The hotel team were charming and professional including a housekeeper who kindly gave us a missing hand towel.
Room 101 was peaceful and extremely comfortable especially the spacious bed, fine linen and pillows. The best of our 10 day holiday in France!
Dinner at the hotel was excellent. We enjoyed the different entrees and main courses; the Paris Brest patisserie was amazing.
We have no hesitation in recommending the hotel although room 101 has low beams so not suitable for tall people.

Very warm welcome, pleasant room, restaurant with terrace (limited menu choice but very good), location of the hotel ideal for a stopover in the area. I recommend without reservation.
The hotel is very well located in the city center, but we appreciated the tranquility. Dinner on the terrace in the square, punctuated by a theatrical performance, was very pleasant. The staff is very friendly and efficient.
Ultimately, the stay was pleasant, even though it didn't start off very well: the room assigned to us didn't match what the website advertises as a twin room. Furthermore, the shower wasn't working properly, but the manager was able to resolve the problem by offering us another room that did meet our expectations.

Ideally located in the historic heart, in a 17th century building, one can only be seduced by this charming hotel. The room, in addition to being beautiful, was clean and spacious, and nothing was lacking for our comfort. What I really appreciated, in addition to the freshness, quality, and deliciousness of the dinner and lunch, was the friendliness of each member of the staff, thank you for your welcome.

Our room on the Richelieu tavern side is very noisy, both in the tavern and especially in the morning, the cars on the cobblestones. The restaurant was very good. The smell of gasoline from the old pump is unpleasant. But there are plenty of other places on the terrace.

Poorly equipped room, only one power strip, a skylight that doesn't ventilate the room, stuffy in good weather, old-fashioned bathtub. On the other hand, good meal, excellent breakfast, and a great team, which more than compensates for the small flaws in the room.
Hotel is situated in the beautiful town of Richelieu and is in a lovely position on the town square. We only had one night but that was the same night a a music event which was great fun and everyone was very friendly and welcoming.

Check in was good but felt pressurized to book a table for a meal, which we did. Turned up initially 15mins early so we had a drink outside. then went back in approx. 5 mins before time to be told by person in charge that he was still eating, but young assistant took us to a table. Waited for 25mins but no one came to ask if we even wanted a drink, never mind our meal order, so we walked out as the Manager was about to eventually come in and take our order, at which point we told him he was too late. interestingly thee was another guest with his daughter outside who saw all of this and asked if we were not impressed with the service, which we said we were not! Instead we went to another restaurant and spent 100 eu there. We are not impressed, why state we should really book then NOT BE AVAILABLE at the time we agreed?

What can I say...very disappointed. A nice welcome, of course...but that's not all...Room quite small. Lack of maintenance: hanging wall light, mold on either side of the window; toilet seat not suitable for the bowl, missing glass shelf under the mirror above the sink...dirty external shower seals...This establishment does not deserve to be classified as three stars. In terms of food, I would say it was okay, nothing more for dinner and breakfast...especially the pre-baked bread served...it's a bit light all the same.... I should point out that the stay was made as part of a smartbox....that explains everything...???

A beautiful hotel within the walls of a beautiful walled town.
We were made very welcome on our arrival and shown to our room very efficiently. We had booked dinner so almost immediately went in for that.
I charged my electric car overnight and the lead would not disconnect from the charger. The staff member on duty in the morning could not have been more helpful contacting the supplier and getting the lead disconnected for us.
We had two dinners on the hotel, both beautifully presented and extremely well cooked.
We have already booked our next stay in this wonderful little gem.

A highly recommended hotel, friendly staff, excellent food, and a fantastic breakfast. The only slight drawback is that it's a bit noisy outside.
