Great hotel accommodation with impeccable rooms
I stayed there for one night. I was well received. Room 2 is large, there is a TV and air conditioning, it is clean and simple, the bed is comfortable. The downside is the shower bar that barely holds onto the wall and there is no way to block the shower head because it keeps coming down. Breakfast is €10 but there is not much choice. There you go.
What a warm welcome and a great room, we slept wonderfully.
The room was nicely decorated but there was a strange smell which we were told was white vinegar for cleaning. We didn’t have breakfast but it didn’t look worth 10 euros a head. There is virtually nothing in the village - a bar/tabac which looked rough. We went into Douai which was pretty but everything was closed with roaming bands of adolescents on the streets. We’d have paid for a glass of wine with salami and cheese if it had been available in the hotel. I wouldn’t stay here again.
Overall, a decent 4-night stay. However, the room was not cleaned on the last night: the trash was not emptied, and the courtesy tray was not replaced. It should be noted that a nauseating smell was constantly emanating from the shower cubicle.
Too bad you only have one partner for the evening stopover because he is average.
Excellent chambre d’une taille “grande”. Chambre et salle de douche très propre. En cas de besoin, les chambres ont une climatisation.
Wifi rapide et fiable. Parking sur place à l’ombre! Petit déjeuner à la francaise! L’accueil par le gérant très gentil.

The calm, the magnificent setting, the spacious room
Very warm welcome, spacious room, comfortable bedding, exemplary cleanliness. Having tested the hotel industry in Douai, this hotel is superior and highly recommended if you want to stay in Douai which is 10 minutes away by car. The hotel is close to Arras (25km) and Lille (40km) and the historic mining center (Lewarde). In addition, this manor is a witness to the industrial past of the region, in fact it was the property of the boss and founder of the factory located opposite.
Impeccable and professional welcome. Very beautiful place. To recommend without hesitation.

A super hotel with a very kind and friendly host. Very comfortable room and an excellent breakfast. A nearby restaurant was also recommended to us which was excellent. We will return.
