Excellent hotel with a lovely and attentive gentleman who welcomed us; we will gladly return. The only downside was that check-out was at 11:00 AM, not noon as indicated on the website.
The hotel is perfectly located, and the welcome is warm and attentive. The room was very comfortable and quiet, with a lovely view of the canal and the castle. On the evening of our arrival, we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious dinner served by attentive and charming staff. Breakfast is also plentiful and varied, and it's a real pleasure to be able to enjoy it in a beautiful dining room, again with very attentive staff.
The cleanliness of the beds needs improvement. The bathroom could use some updating. Large room with a view of the castle. Very good welcome, good quality breakfast.
Nice hotel
This hotel is in dire need of a renovation. For example, the large bathtub in room 101 should be replaced with a more accessible, water-efficient shower. The toilet bowl also needs to be re-secured to the floor. On the other hand, the double bed is comfortable. And be careful of hair left in the bathtub; it's incredibly unpleasant.

Very good location opposite the castle, very warm welcome from all the staff. Clean room, comfortable bed, beautiful view of the castle, we had a comfort room, kettle, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, 2 bottles of water, nothing was missing! Excellent meal for dinner and the same for breakfast. We will be back!
The lift was out of order during our stay which meant having to carry luggage up and down stairs. The seat of the toilet in our bathroom would not stay up.
Convenient hotel for visiting the city, friendly and professional staff, some rooms have a view of the castle. Good restaurant, good and varied breakfast, good value for money. The hotel is opposite the castle and the restaurant offers an excellent view. Pleasant stay.

Ideally located in Josselin, this hotel restaurant is well worth a stay. Friendly and welcoming staff, excellent traditional cuisine, and perfect bedding. The only downside is the slightly dated bathroom and the economy rooms are very small.
A good hotel perfectly located opposite Josselin Castle; excellent restaurant; very friendly staff
The room allocated requires renovation in terms of the bathroom and toilet, the shower is particularly old and the toilet bowl is low. The furniture in the room needs updating. On the other hand, the breakfast offers a good quality choice, the meals (set menu or à la carte) are very good and well cooked, the staff is very welcoming and kind whether at reception, in the catering service or for housekeeping. In fact, this hotel offers good value for money.

The rooms are a bit basic and could do with some design rethink such as placing sockets at convenient places.
The bathroom was lacking in some basic fixings like towel rails or hooks. Think about what the hotel guests would need and you will discover all the shortcomings.
Great to have a kettle in the room, but no where convenient to plug it in!
Don't forget that the windows need to be cleaned, too! There are a lot of birds around...
It is still a good hotel.
The hotel was shabby and run down . The economy rooms should not be on sale they were dreadful. Even accessing the bathroom was very difficult - door was rotting , shower flooded the floor , mirror two feet above head height. Hotel just trades on the location.
The hotel is beautifully situated opposite Josselin Castle. Our superior room had a wonderful view of it. Car parking is good.
A hotel with young and friendly staff. The room is, however, old-fashioned and a bit tired (a few wires are hanging from the walls), but above all, there was a drain smell coming from the bathroom that was difficult to eliminate, even with the window open.

Room 107 is not worthy of a 3-star hotel: persistent unpleasant odor, floor covering that could make you fall... Despite reporting it to the staff, no alternative solution was offered...

The only issue is the shower if you have physical disabilities or are a little older it is unsuitable. Also due to the way it was built cleaning was issue by the looks of it. If this is an issue check if they can accommodate you. Otherwise perfect.

Ideally located for visiting the old town, at the foot of the canal and facing the castle. Very good food on site in a spacious and nicely appointed room. We had chosen a room with a view of the castle. Small room. A downside for the bathroom/toilet which is small with a somewhat dated shower and the bedding good but without a mattress protector.

What a shame the shower is from another era! It's borderline clean. Everything else is fine. Something really needs to be done!!
I booked two rooms for one night, fully aware of their size because it was clearly specified in the offers. I was shocked and shocked by the bathrooms in both rooms, which were built into alcoves and were very small and inadequate. The sink was a toy-sized sink, and the shower curtain was the least of it. It was a shame that all the water came out because you had to hand-hold the showerhead. I often vacation in France and change hotels almost every night, and this is the first time this has happened to me. These are rooms 207 and 209, facing the courtyard. I'm surprised that the Logis chain has these problems.

When traveling, we prefer to stay in a hotel, which we are most often very satisfied with, and the Château Hotel in Josselin is by far the one we appreciated the most, both for the perfect welcome from the very competent and pleasant staff, as well as for the quality of the food and the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms. We highly recommend this hotel and hope to return for longer.

Very warm welcome with very precise explanations. The big asset is obviously the view of the castle. The bedding is great. On the other hand, the sanitary equipment is aging. Toilet tank that leaks, paint on the bathtub tiles is crumbling, bathtub seals are damaged.
The rooms are a little cramped, surprised by their size and the decoration, because the atmosphere of the hotel is very pleasant, in its own juice....

Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting, the only improvement would be the bathrooms in the rooms, small is an understatement, had there been two of us staying it it would have been a problem. Beds very comfy, rooms basic but totally fine just let down by the bathroom/toilet facilities. Oh and lights on timer switches meant the lights often went out while showering etc, quirky but a little annoying!
Booked a 'superior' double room with Castle view.'. Got there after published check-in time..it was not ready. No problem we will have a drink (might even have been nice to have been offered one).....just let us know when ready. Sat on terrace...waiting staff all ignored . 3 times had to ask if ready...no one came and advised us.
Room straight out of Logis from 1980s...small, dirty, dreadful mouldy bathroom....we have pictures. Shower head had to be held in place by a wooden stick. Did have a castle view to right but was adjacent busy road and hotel supplies bay so was very noisy.
Positive..good and value meal first night with charming staff. Would have eaten there second night but next day sat on bar terrace for 1 hr being ignored..so we went fotr a drink ewlsewhere and had a good meal there that night. NIce terrace to eat in summer biut theu close it off for dinner and breakfast!
Went to pay bill..same women who had ignored us previous day. Suddenly very charming. We asked if we had been in a superior room as bill read 'Comfor Room'...claimed that was a 'translation issue'.
We would advise do not stay here. Seem to have that policy of giving the worst rooms if book through Booking.co (no doubt due to outrageous charges). If you are foolish enough to stay then book direct..seems much cheaper.

The room is comfortable, however I find it a shame that the decoration is limited to mirrors and that the bathroom is oddly arranged. The housekeeping is good. The bar is superb! It was a surprise to arrive and see the castle in front of the room. Everything was fine and sufficient for a one-night stay. We were a large room, and although the bathroom was perhaps small, the bed was comfortable and large. A charming hotel due to its location and age.
