Person who answered the phonecall wasn’t kind or helpful. Private parking is available but you can’t leave it before 07.00 am so we had to park somewhere in the streets. No hot water for shower, it’s January and we were freezing. Old furniture and old bathroom. Poor looking hotel.
Pleasant environment
Very nice stay and breakfast in the middle of town.
No chair in the room, small bed, shower hose couldn't be secured, meager breakfast. Very poor value for money. Parking was difficult.
The hotel is an inn suffering from age and lack of renovation, but it is warm and comfortable, food is good and the staff are very welcoming.

A hotel in the style of the late 18th century, under the watchful eye of Madame Vigee Lebrun, we had an excellent dinner and a very pleasant stay, thank you for everything.
Comfortable hotel after a day of cycling!
I was shocked at the restaurant that the same knife and fork had to be used for the starter and the main course.
A little bit old fashioned but comfortable enough
Ik kom hier al zestig jaar. Ideaal qua afstand naar het zuiden als ook de wintersport.
I had made a reservation for a double room. The reservation form had a space for an additional request, which I entered: "Please also reserve a table for the restaurant at 7:00 PM for two people." The website stated: "The hotel has its own parking lot." Upon arrival, I was told in a very unpleasant manner: - Only a room had been reserved; - No restaurant reservation had been made. The restaurant was "full," and a table became available after 9:00 PM; - No parking space had been reserved, and the parking lot was full. There was no parking available near the hotel; - The reservation confirmation I had received was not from the hotel, but from the Logis hotel headquarters, and only concerned the room reservation. I should have received a confirmation of the reservation from the hotel, but I didn't. All this was communicated very curtly and unwelcomingly by an apparently very stressed woman. We left immediately, saying we would not return to this hotel again! And found another hotel, coincidentally also a Logis hotel in Bourbonne-les-Bains.
Great location and very friendly staff

Hotel is gedateerd. Onze kamer was schoon maar wel oud. Badkamer oud. Douche niet comfortabel. Hotel wel sfeervol en locatie mooi. Ontbijt netjes en oke.
Aks ik weer naar Langres kom kijk ik ook eerst naar andere hotels. Deze was wel redelijk van prijs.
Location is top and hotel is also ok.
There were five of us. The single room was just as expensive as a double room, which is outrageous. On top of that, there was a huge hole in the carpet, and the carpet was very unhygienic. The breakfast was disappointing. No eggs. Only Emmental cheese in small plastic wrappers. The coffee and baguette were good, though. This was our fourth time at the hotel, and we won't be coming back, as it keeps getting worse.
This hotel is well located in the city center. A parking lot at the back allows you to park for 8 euros. The hotel would need renovation in terms of painting, wallpaper, flooring. I don't know if we had the only room (nr2), in this state of disuse but there are things that are difficult to accept like the state of the bathroom where you have traces of mold in the shower and on the ceiling. The laminate flooring is warped at the entrance to the bathroom, no doubt it has taken on water. There were no curtains or double curtains at the windows. Light filtered through the window which was only equipped with an old wooden shutter which did not close completely. The door of the room would really need a lick of paint, the fiberglass placed at the window is very dirty. This room is located on the 1st floor just above the reception. You can imagine the noise in the morning, it felt like people were at our door. The only positive point is that the bedding is comfortable. Breakfast could be improved by the presence of hot water for tea, apart from the coffee machine. Although there are teapots, you cannot fill them with the automatic machine. The tables are arranged in such a way that you cannot cross paths when you go to serve yourself for breakfast. The organization of breakfast could use a review. I am not the only one to say this. A customer told us that she had to move tables to make things more fluid at the breakfast buffet.
The room was clean but large hole in the carpet, broken and dangerous table lamp, dangerous electrical devices and socket in bathroom. Toilet very small unable to close door when using and no ventilation in bathroom or toulet
No parking space despite reserving one
A perfect stop off overnight.Clean friendly and well run.
Appetizer were good the rest below average. I had choosen this hotel chain because of the very good dinner we had.

Good stay for Langres
Just perfect in the center
Everything was very good.
The staff make a lot of effort and are hard-working. The only thing was that I had to wait until 2:55 p.m., soaking wet and freezing, to get into the hot tub. As a motorcyclist, I expect a bit more flexibility. The rooms had been made up long ago. The staff are hard-working and do a great job, but in my opinion there is far too much pressure here, you can feel it. Rather than chasing the staff, it would be better to invest in renovations. In this state, they probably won't be able to exist for much longer. The breakfast and the food were good, the wine was great. The bed was very comfortable and the linens and towels very well made, the bathroom was usable too. Everything was very clean, but as I said, it needs renovation. The Hotel Europa reminded me of Europe. The people are hard-working and do a great job, it's just that the management urgently needs to be replaced. Instead of wasting money on completely pointless weapons or pharmaceuticals, it would be better to invest in the completely dilapidated infrastructure. Instead of enslaving the people more and more, let the economy function sensibly again. Then things will start looking up again.

Good value for money for a city center. The room is really outdated and could do with a renovation, but it is clean and the bedding is good quality. The hotel staff is very pleasant; the chef's cuisine is very good with quality local products.
The hotel itself was nice, yes it is older but it was also charming. We had diner and breakfast at the hotel and the quality was good. However there was a strange tense atmosphere at the people who worked there during dinner. The person who have us the menu knew that we didn’t spoke French but we got the menu in French. When somebody else saw us busy with ‘Google Translate’ she brought us de English Version. When the person who gave u the French version came to write down our order we needed the French version again because she didn’t understand her own menu in English. And there constantly seem to be discussions between the staff what didn’t approve the atmospere. When we were ready with diner we saw one member of the staff running down the street and calling nervously on her phone. All together it was a bit odd, so although food quality and food where okay I would not there a second time.
Good value for money but nothing more for this hotel in the center of Langres. Old-fashioned decor and a "in its own juice", everything leans and the doors creak, but the rooms are spacious and the bedding is excellent. We did not dine in the restaurant because it was oppressively hot (no air conditioning) and we did not want to sit on the terrace... which is in fact the sidewalk. Breakfast is OK but nothing more either, the rolls were not fresh daily and the cheeses presented were only pre-packaged industrial stuff, a shame...
We have stayed here many times over 30 years but whilst we love the old style, we really think it’s time to update the bathrooms and bathroom nicest in air con, we didn’t even have a fan in the room this time and it was 35 plus outside. The staff and meal were very good though.
Well located hotel, good restaurant
Very well located hotel in the center of Langres, perfect for a stopover
Nice and cosy for us with a Teenager we get a little flat with two rooms and a bath and extra toilet, no kitchen. But you don’t need one. The Restaurant is more than excellent. Don’t miss a Reservation there!!!
Very reasonable for a two-star hotel; right in the city center!

A friendly welcome! The location is right in the center, and we even had parking, which was very convenient. Dinner and breakfast were very good and cozy. The room was large and pleasant. Otherwise, basic furnishings, but good beds! The bathroom was the worst part. Unfortunately, the shower (in the bath) wasn't good; we couldn't get the water to the right temperature. It would be extremely cold and then extremely hot (really hot!). That was a shame. Otherwise, a wonderful hotel; I would definitely return!
It needs to restauration
Een leuk knus hoyel in een fantastisch mooi vestingstadje. Prima ontbijtje.
Abgewohntes Zimmer. Teppichboden und Tapette hatte Flecken. Badewanne kaputt und bei der Duschabtrennung war die Gummidichtung kaputt so das Wasser ins Bad lief. Sehr laut zur Straße gelegen. Wenn die Fenster zu waren konnte man nicht schlafen weil es so warm warm. Sehr hellhörig.
Great location with the benefit of parking

The staff is great, very professional and attentive. The location is great for exploring Langres, the hotel parking is very nice. Points to improve: The room is dated and the bathroom is outdated. It's fine for one night, but for several days it would have been difficult.

Nice hotel for a stopover on the way south. The staff doesn't speak English, but we got a long way with hand gestures. Breakfast and parking not expensive (about 18 euros together I think). The barrier was closed when I arrived, but you can leave your car there while checking in. Room was clean, water pressure in the shower could be a bit stronger. Light above the sink didn't work. There was a lot of dust in the motor of the hairdryer. Window couldn't be closed. Bed was comfortable and there was a bottle of water waiting for me. All in all a great experience!

Good food and nice people
The food on offer is excellent, but it's time to invest in some major soundproofing work, and then some general renovations. The "cherubs" on the wall, painted on striped paper, yellowed by time, are very negative (room 2). And the mold in the bathroom doesn't make you want to come back...
Positive points: pleasant stay, hotel very well located for visiting Langres, very good meal. Negative points: difficulty parking if the garage is full...; bedroom windows having had their day...

They won't see me here again and I won't recommend it to anyone. A very dated hotel with zero service. The food was disappointing and the breakfast is very scanty in a bleak room.
Very old infrastructure needing a refreshment
The rooms in the back building are clean but very dated. A big contrast to the rest of the hotel; it feels like a different level of service. I was disappointed compared to my first stay in the main building. Otherwise, the restaurant and breakfast are very good.
Lovely traditional French hotel, lots of character
Great location in the heart of Langres. The street seemed noisy on arrival but by late evening it quietens down and we had a peaceful night. Secure parking onsite is very busy but the staff do a great job of telling you where to park. The breakfast was superb for €10.

Reading reviews before booking this stay, I was aware of a few small red flags which I chose to ignore.

We booked a 4 bed room an got 1 double bed. So had to spend the night with 4 people in a super smalle bed. After 22hrs there is nobody to reach out in the hotel so we were stuck for the night. The room was old, very small. Wallpaper yellowed from the sun. Fungus in the bathroom. When they found out their mistake we got the room for free but still had to pay for breakfast. Nobody spoke propare english. An no-proper excuse came. No way that we would go again

Decent hotel. Too bad the overnight stay menu isn't complete! Either starter and main course, or main course and dessert. This is something I've never seen before on an overnight stay... Ordinary food. I don't think I'll be back.
We have stayed here before a long time ago but nothing has changed in 30 years. So many faults. The food isn’t as good as it was and the whole hotel is grubby and tired.
Very good and nice people, good food and perfect parkingplace
We loved the meal we had in the evening. The room was comfortable and very roomy. Good value for money. Right in the centre of a beautiful city.
Hotel well located in the city center with its private parking. Friendly welcome, very decent room, old-fashioned atmosphere reminiscent of the tradition of urban hotels far from the common places of so-called modern hotels. Suggestion: install a thermostatic faucet in the shower. We will gladly return.
