I make a detour to stay at this hotel, one of my go-to choices for business trips, and I know why. The room I was given was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The bedding was good quality and a good size. The bathroom was also very clean and functional. The Wi-Fi was good (for working). The food was excellent, even on the set menu, and the service was equally impressive. Breakfast offered a variety of good quality items. A very nice place to stay, at a very reasonable price.

2nd stay as a couple at Clos de Mutigny, we are completely satisfied with the weekend. Quality and professionalism are there. The place is charming, the hotel well-kept, and the restaurant is a treat. A nice break to offer from our sometimes sad daily life, and to leave with a few bottles of Lhoste champagne whose producer showed us his cellar, which will make our upcoming celebrations sparkle.

Very pleasant atmosphere. We've been there several times. The restaurant is excellent. The garden is beautiful. Not far from champagne cellars. Unfortunately, the bathroom was cool, and I prefer a shower. But these are minor issues. We will choose the hotel again and are happy to recommend it.

We love this place. Convenient from motorway, pretty setting in village, lovely grounds and parking, excellent restaurant and terrace, lovely staff. Rooms rather tired but bed comfy and bathroom worked.

Very helpful, kind staff
The welcome was extremely warm. Room 8, on the other hand, was less pleasant. There was a fly screen, but unfortunately it was torn. The temperature in the room was 26.4 degrees Celsius. We could open the window, but the strong rushing river made it impossible to leave it open at night. There was a standing fan, which we had to run all night. The beds were comfortable, and the room was quiet with the window closed. We asked for a different room, but unfortunately that wasn't possible. The dinner was a dream, very tasty and beautifully presented. The service was perfect. Breakfast was simple but good. Conclusion: Don't book room 8 under any circumstances; the evening menu was fantastic.
Fantastic customer service, from a team who seem week trained and motivated. Excellent restaurant dining experience. It was very hot weather so the bedroom and dining room were uncomfortably hot, although there was a fan in our room which kept the bedroom bearable. Otherwise a excellent experience as round. The food was very good. The room was starting to show its age, with no air conditioning and a room temperature of 29°C, and a poor fan that was extremely noisy. The breakfast was decent, with a lack of bread variety, for example. A fruit salad would have been nice in this heat.

The room was comfortable, clean with a balcony overlooking the river.
Go out of your way to stay here for the food. Everything was beautifully prepared and delicious and amazing value for money. I love fish but am so often served overcooked fish which somehow doesn’t have the stigma of overcooked meat. And should! My cod was utterly delicious and perfectly cooked leaving it still moist and tasty.
Lovely hotel that we would like to revisit. Food excellent and imaginative with the exception of the cheese board, three very similar cheeses. I enjoy the apple and nut accompaniment though! Breakfast café long could also have done with some strength!

A haven of peace after a day of work. A beautiful building in the middle of a magnificent wooded park bordered by a stream (the Fion), the room is spacious with a magnificent terrace not overlooked. The bathroom is very spacious and functional. The elevator provides access to the upper floors, which is very useful for luggage. The dinners are excellent. Plenty of parking. Everything is perfect.

This is a lovely hotel. Warm and welcoming, in pretty gardens with easy parking. There is a lovely terrace at the front which will be lovely in warmer weather. Our room was very comfortable, great breakfast and excellent dinner. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful throughout. Our stay was excellent value for money. We will certainly stay again and would highly recommend
