Restaurant Château de la Dame Blanche

As a regular customer of this establishment, I've noticed a slight decline in the quality of service at the restaurant. Indeed, upon being seated, one of the place settings wasn't clean (it was changed without any problem), and when the knife for the meat was placed on the table, it was dull and unusable (it was also changed without any problem). During our aperitif, we asked the young waitress what the Jura'skaya liqueur was and are still waiting for an answer (she went to find out but hasn't heard back). Regarding the Valentine's Day menu, between the amuse-bouche (two raw langoustines) and the fish (red mullet the size of a sardine fillet), the portion size was rather minimal for a premium-priced menu. We are not questioning the quality of the food served.

Everything is perfect: beautiful setting, very comfortable room, and delicious food.

Beautiful hotel, very quiet and pleasant surroundings. I've already stayed in a room in the castle (magnificent!), a cabin (sublime!), and the Picasso room (very decent). Breakfast was perfect (just missing maple syrup :-) Restaurant: a very nice place, very enjoyable meal, but you need to allow a little time... Original dishes; a few less ingredients in each dish would be better, I think. You can get a little lost in all the flavors, but it's still a wonderful discovery.

Beautiful place and great address! It's a shame that in case of technical problems, which can happen, no compensation is offered…this is the second time and it tarnishes the good image I have of the establishment.

The White Lady's Castle is a splendid hotel with attentive and very helpful staff; we will return this summer to finally discover the Pinocchio house, which was not available due to the cold weather.

I didn't clearly perceive that I was staying in an off-center building, which has nothing to do with the charm of the main part of the castle. The building is clean and decent but lacks the charm and the view from the windows is quite sad (damaged asphalt, dilapidated tent, etc.). It's a shame because the sauna area is very good although expensive (€40 for 2 people for 1 hour) and the restaurant is very high quality.

We can only recommend it! Remarkable for an evening stopover. The fact remains that the prices for wines by the glass are excessive. This is also why wine consumption is declining in restaurants. We only have one glass...

I booked on-line through the Logis Hotels website and had a copy of the booking confirmation with me, but the hotel insisted that they did not have the booking. However, they upgraded us to a suite at no extra cost.
Hotel, dinner and breakfast were all excellent.
Car Park was a short walk away as the nearest car park was full.

Wonderful evening in the NEVERS Suite. Being from this city it was a pleasure. The quality of the dishes in the restaurant is impeccable. The presentation, the flavors, everything is perfect. Keep it up, you have a beautiful establishment and I recommend it 100%.

Very nice establishment, and excellent evening menu! As for the room, it is a shame that there is no separation between the office and the bathroom. I hope to sleep in the Château part for my next stay. I highly recommend this establishment for its quality, especially in terms of the setting and the catering.

Peaceful and beautiful surroundings, comfortable and clean rooms, exquisite restaurant and breakfast, attentive staff: a perfect stay just a stone's throw from Besançon. We highly recommend it!

Very nice place, offering an interesting variety of accommodations. Good value for money, especially half-board, with the exception of drinks at dinner: much too expensive.

Excellent welcome, very beautiful and charming environment and building. But no coffee maker or kettle in the room, bathroom not very practical. Breakfast is expensive but of good quality. However, some of the cups provided are too small for anything other than a short coffee. The staff in charge of breakfast, to whom we asked for larger cups, curtly replied that there were no others. If the welcome was really very pleasant and friendly, this does not reflect the state of mind of the entire staff.

A quiet, cozy place to stay. Aim for a room in the main building. Breakfast could be more imaginative. Some items weren't replenished (scrambled eggs were out by 8:00 a.m.).

Top-notch hotel and restaurant. Magnificent estate. The setting is idyllic, with the castle and its tall trees. A beautiful blend of authenticity and modernity. We loved the restaurant; everything was fine and refined, the produce fresh and tasty. I highly recommend it.

Absolutely beautiful setting, lovely friendly greeting and the accommodation was amazing. Lovely large room with huge comfortable bed and large shower. The Chateau is set in stunning grounds and we ate outside overlooking the lawn. We opted to accept the set menu dinner and were really looking forward to the treat as it was the final evening of our holiday. Sadly the main course was very disappointing which took the edge off what would have been the perfect stay.

No towels in the bathroom, curtain stuck, no trash in the toilet.

A wonderful moment, but ruined by the person at breakfast who never cracks a smile, looking at us like an intruder who has come into her home. Her behavior of climbing on a customer's chair with her shoes on to put coffee in the machine, of leaving the package on the side. She has things to review given the standing of your establishment. On the other hand, I would like to highlight the quality of the staff serving the restaurant, impeccable and kind. A pleasure

We had a very good stay in this hotel, the room was beautiful and large with charm. The bedding was very comfortable. The exteriors are nice and allow you to get away from it all. Good breakfast

If you book a chateau and then end up in a place with poor taste and quality, you'll not only be disappointed, you'll be angry!

Superb stay at the Chateau de la Dame Blanche for training. The meals were delicious...

Hotel well located for my professional meeting

Maybe it could be good for some people to have a choice of servings in the restaurant. Personally I would prefer to choose between 3, 4, 5, 6 servings at the restaurant, because I sometimes are more hungry than other times ; )

Very nice park and nice old building as such. Could do more out of it. All in all good for one night and for the fair price. Service could be more customer friendly and more professional.

Any excuse will be good to go back there.

A very beautiful room in a castle (from the 19th century?) in a majestic park guaranteeing the calm and serenity of the place. The breakfast offering a good choice was composed of very high quality products (whether it be the cold meats, the cheeses, the breads, the fruit juices and everything else) made me regret even more that the restaurant was closed the previous evening. I will gladly come back to discover it.

Very warm welcome and very comfortable room with small terrace and garden furniture. Very good meal and very decent breakfast.

The location is great, the personnel is very nice and food was amazing.
When it comes to facilities tho we were a bit disappointed. For a 4* Hotel we were expecting a bit more quality and cleanness of the rooms and facilities. We have been informed after booking that there would be a wedding on the weekend so restaurant was closed and at 2am we have been woken up by loud drunk people trying to enter our room, we had to get up and ask them to be more respectful.

A no-nonsense stopover with a gourmet and refined dinner, a perfect and comfortable room in a magnificent setting. A pleasant and warm welcome and staff. I highly recommend it!

We had a great evening: Musical evening: The musicians were excellent, the musical atmosphere was great. And what about the menu? A real treat. The dishes, the wines, everything was perfect. And I can't forget the service; the waitresses were also top-notch.

We stayed at the hotel twice within nine days. On our first stay (Sunday/Monday), we had a room in the main building with an elevator. On our second stay (Tuesday/Wednesday), we had a very nice room in the annex, but on the first floor without an elevator. Not ideal for people with limited mobility.

Always perfect for everything, a haven of peace where we eat very well.
