The rooms had virtually no soundproofing (noise from the pipes, toilets, footsteps on the ceiling, people talking or even whispering!). The rooms were in poor condition: torn headboard, hair in the bathroom, half the TV channels not working... Breakfast was extremely meager for the price of €12.
Fantastic place! Stunning view of Lake Chambon, simply breathtaking. Warm welcome, just three days before closing for holidays. Gargantuan breakfast with delicious, locally sourced products. A couple of minor issues: the restaurant had been closed for a week, which wasn't mentioned on the website, and a network outage prevented the Wi-Fi from working. Otherwise, nothing to complain about except thank you for a very pleasant stay.
Wonderful hotel in a wonderful location with a fine kitchen
Excellent establishment! Pleasant room and generous, high-quality dinner. The only point that could be improved: allowing access to the breakfast room from 6:00 a.m., not 7:15 a.m.
Excellent welcome. Table reserved by the hotel (they called us to see if we were reserving a table, priority for hotel guests) for the evening of our arrival because the surrounding restaurants were mostly closed. Hotel a bit dated, carpet in the stairs and in the rooms should be refreshed. Clean room. Bathroom in its original state, could do with a facelift. Creaky floorboards and poor soundproofing, you can hear the neighbors talking, snoring, and walking... (especially when some people are not very concerned about others...). Very beautiful view of the lake.

Very pleasant stay, good location, stayed two nights and ate at the hotel restaurant. Excellent food despite a hiccup on the second day, due to problems in the kitchen. The meat was not cooked correctly (the second day), asked for a blue steak and received a well-cooked steak. My wife's duck breast was not pink but well-cooked. Other than that it was excellent. Another small downside, tables with children are put before the others.

This logis is in a great location with wonderful views across Lac Chambon and to the mountains around. The room was perfect for a short stay. Although the decor was a little tired, it was very comfortable and clean and good value for money. Friendly and welcoming staff too. The restaurant downstairs was excellent - despite it being very busy, the service was great and everything about the food was brilliant. Good value for money and thoroughly recommended.

The hotel is old and poorly insulated, but it's very clean and well-equipped. The food is of high quality, but the service is rather disorganized; we had to wait two hours for a main course and dessert.

No soundproofing in the rooms
The hotel is located at the beach level of Lake Chambon, high up and set back from traffic, which is an asset for the calm, parking is also available in front of and next to the hotel, very convenient. The view is magnificent from the rooms. The establishment offers a beautiful flowered terrace for eating or having a drink. The staff is absolutely charming. Cleanliness is at the rendezvous and the atmosphere friendly. Breakfast is in the form of a buffet, savory and sweet as well as cereals etc, the jams are homemade and are delicious, the coffee machine is very good, the + are the brioche and cake preparations of the chef which are unique. The nice surprise and the strong point of this hotel is also the catering, everything is homemade, well served and varied, fish and meat are in the spotlight as well as local specialties, the truffade is delicious and the award of excellence goes to the pastry chef who trained among others at the Negresco (Palace Nice) and who prepares us desserts to die for. Calling all foodies, this is irresistible and exceptional! A place we've noted in our diary, and one my husband and I will return to without hesitation. In a single sentence, we feel at home here, but better. Bravo to the entire team.
Excellent hotel
New apartment hotel. Beautiful view of the lake. Apartment located directly above the jacuzzi, terrace, and a restaurant room, a bit noisy. The staff is very mixed: exceptional welcome, however, one waitress made inappropriate remarks.
All the staff are lovely and very attentive to their customers. So yes, some of the carpets could be replaced, you can see the passage of time, but the value for money would certainly not be the same. A superb view, good food, dedicated and friendly staff 👍🏻👍🏻. We will definitely come back.
