Room 227 was very small, the heating was inefficient, the towel warmer and bathroom heating did not work, there was a very loud noise outside at 5:00 am, and the bathroom ventilation was very noisy. Fortunately, the room was clean and the reception was adequate, but I would have liked to have been asked on my departure if everything had been alright.
Nothing to complain about. Very welcoming, reasonable prices. Excellent food. Private parking. Go for it!
Even if the hotel doesn't have a very appealing exterior, once you step inside you'll forget all about it. From the friendly welcome to the excellent cuisine, the place is pleasant, the rooms are clean, functional, well-equipped, and modern. In the evenings, the services offered during the overnight package are more than up to par. Well done, keep it up!

A very nice hotel! Superb view! Very clean
The only downside was the absence of a lift - we had to climb 2 flights of stairs with a heavy suitcase.

A lovely place to visit in summer with dinner on the terrace and sitting on the bedroom balcony looking over the river. Winter is not as appealing, although proximity to the N10, comfortable bedroom and excellent restaurant make up for it when one cant enjoy the exterior areas( the hotel can appear a bit stark on approach in winter) . The dinner was excellent and superior to most Logis we have visited. It was however not as good as it could have been due to the indifference of the waitress who seemed unconcerned that our starter had not arrived after waiting an hour. Her male colleague apologised profusely and ensured the rest of the service went like clockwork.
Stopping for one night but for a 3rd visit: excellent cuisine that showcases regional products, magnificent park on the banks of the Charente to relax after the kilometers traveled and large private parking! An ideal stopover!
Very professional hotel perfectly located in a superb setting. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and professional. Unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to try the restaurant, but the breakfast, made with fresh, quality products, was excellent. The room was very comfortable and clean; there is nothing to complain about; I highly recommend this hotel.

WOW - location is simply sublime. Gardens and surrounds are so restful. Room nicely decorated and sufficent for us and our dog. Loved the views. Meals, - breakfast and dinner - were very good and we certainly ate to our hearts content. (We fell in love with the desserts!!) Staff hyper agreeable.

Well situated on the bank of the Charente river. Grounds are well worth a look round. Meals n the restaurant are good and tasty. Breakfast was adequate for our needs.
Behind a rather unappealing facade lies a very pleasant surprise: a warm welcome, a beautiful room and lovely decor, a very good restaurant, and a terrace overlooking beautiful gardens and the river. And what's more, there's a bike storage room!
For an evening stopover, the price is really worth it.
