We had room 26 and when we arrived it was very, very cold despite the heating being set to 22 (it must have been turned on recently). But we slept well and the next day I was able to take a shower; it was warmer in the bathroom.
Very welcoming and warm. A real change of scenery, even though we're from Lille!
This is a lovely hotel, a beautiful old building and you will receive the warmest of welcomes. The food is truly excellent.
Reception and availability of staff: very good. Friendliness, efficiency and discretion. Quality of dinner and breakfast: no problem. Regrets: the room - bedding: enormous pillows that bend the neck in two - the ventilation system (or heat pump?): very noisy.

The room (42) is not at all soundproofed, light comes through under the door. The price of the overnight stay is not justified in relation to the services offered. Perfect restaurant, quality product.
We slept in the annex which is a beautiful building, bedroom and bathroom very cold and impossible to turn on the heating devices, wooden floor of the bedroom not joined with presence of spiders. It is a shame to have low-end honey brand "honeymoon" for breakfast when we have some beekeepers in France who offer good products.

Very comfortable and friendly with good quality food in a lovely setting.
We hade chosen the hotel as the websiate said its restaurant was open on Mondays . In fact when we arrived they told us that the restaurant was on holiday that week. I had not seen this being included on the website and certainly had not been warned.
This meant trying to find another restaurant open on a Monday evening which was not easy and involved a significant walk that was difficutl for my wife. Had I known we would have stayed in a Dunkerque
Great hotel, far from the sanitized chains that are too prevalent in France. Simple, comfortable bedding, very good breakfast, in short, if I return to the area, this is where I will stay!
A wonderful discovery. We will remember it. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The setting is truly beautiful. The staff is very friendly. We received a very warm welcome. Private parking is easy. Only positive things!!

L’hôtel est idéalement situé pour profiter de Bergues. La chambre est moderne, même si elle est dans un ancien bâtiment.

Hotel well located in the village of Bergues, a charming area just a stone's throw from Dunkirk. Very helpful staff, clean and comfortable room with adequate amenities. Very appreciated the cozy character brought by the flight of stairs at the entrance and the all-wood environment. Room equipped with window and small table, just opposite the back of the Saint Martin church, and its small garden: conducive to daydreaming. Ideal for 1 or more nights depending on what you have planned to do. It is worth walking around during the day/evening in the surrounding area. Go and enjoy a galette de ch'tis to start your day well, at the Franchois pastry shop.

Just needed a stopover on a long journey, but this was so much more. Comfortable accommodation, welcoming staff, secure parking, dog welcome too.

This hotel is easily found, and very handy for channel crossings in a pretty, historic town which is worth a visit.
The bar and restaurant were excellent -we had a lovely meal. Rooms were very clean and had all amenities . The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful,we will definitely return.

Excellent room and breakfast
Friendly staff, quiet, spacious and comfortable room, very clean. Hearty and good quality breakfast. Small negative points: the paintings in our room are not in keeping with the beautiful decorative materials and in the inner courtyard of the hotel in two corners there are garbage bags piled up that could be thrown away because they spoil this beautiful courtyard a little. In our room we only had 3G, so to have the hotel's wifi we spent time on the terrace of the inner courtyard of the hotel.

A truly pleasant address to visit in the charming village of BERGUES. The welcome is pleasant, the room is very clean, well decorated and functional, the bathroom is perfectly maintained and well equipped. The restaurant is also very good: dynamic and smiling welcome, efficient service, very pleasant room and quality cuisine. For breakfast, another room, another atmosphere but just as pleasant with a choice and quality of products that make you have another good time. An address to remember.

The hotel is very well located, just a stone's throw from the city center, and it's very peaceful. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, whether at reception, in the restaurant, or at breakfast. The bedding is excellent, and the room is a good size and well-equipped. The only downside is that the pillow is a bit too firm. The food served in the restaurant is very good. I highly recommend this hotel.
