The staff were welcoming and efficient.
We stayed the night to break up a long journey on our way to the Alps. We arrived much later than expected, well after reception was closed. The hotel staff phoned me in advance to check if we were late and sent clear instructions to get into our rooms. On arrival we met a member of staff who was off duty but helped us with the check in. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed our breakfast very much and the hot power shower was just what we needed to wake up and do the rest of the journey.
Excellent welcome and great attention to the customer. I had forgotten my computer in the room and on my way back the manager called me to arrange for its retrieval at my convenience – very reassuring.
Everything was perfect, the breakfast was very good and plentiful.
Friendly and warm welcome, quiet room, excellent bedding. It's a shame there's still carpet on the floor and a bathtub. Cleanliness was fine. The ground-floor location was perfect with my small dog. The breakfast was plentiful, varied, and fresh (fruit salad, eggs, fruit, etc.).

Quiet hotel and very functional room
A very nice hotel near the city center. Free parking is available nearby, but spaces are limited, or you can park in the hotel's parking lot (see rates). The breakfast was very good and plentiful. The room was clean, the bed very spacious, and the shower cubicle spacious. The staff was very welcoming. We stayed in mid-January; the atmosphere was peaceful.
Very good, it's a shame there's no restaurant on site, but the jars are very good nonetheless.
Unfortunately, we received a rather poor welcome from a curt young woman whose main concern was collecting payment for the room. She offered no advice about dinner despite my request. As a result, everything seemed rather gloomy. The next day, however, the young man who was there was excellent. The room wasn't very large, but the bed was comfortable.
The hotel is quite well located, within reasonable walking distance of the town center. The room was a decent size. The decor is a bit dated in the rooms near the pool, but they have a lot of charm. The breakfast was more than adequate. The parking is a bonus. Special mention goes to the young receptionist who has a great sense of humor!
Excellent value for money, great welcome, one small drawback: it's a shame the hotel parking costs €8.00.

Nice, spacious room (building C) with coffee and tea facilities, a small refrigerator, and a microwave. There's also a small outdoor terrace. Convenient parking garage with a charging station.

Small hotel close to the center, pleasant staff, but avoid room 1 because on the way through, the bathroom is really shabby and the room is poorly ventilated. Overnight stay with ready-made preserves, quick and efficient. Good breakfast, in short, you won't spend your vacation there, but it's a good hotel for a short stay.
An address to remember for a next stop: very friendly and helpful staff; very decent rooms; pleasant surprise for the meal in "jars" very good at an interesting price; motorcycle garage much appreciated! We will return in season to enjoy the swimming pool.

Our in-car satnav had some difficulty taking us to the hotel. We reverted to Google Maps which was better.
It was a considerable relief that the the hotel was able to provide a meal (pre-cooked and microwaved) on our arrival after a long drive.

Perfect for a one-night stopover. The room is comfortable. The selection of partner restaurants is excellent. The breakfast is generous and high-quality.
Good stay. Very pleasant setting, reasonably priced hotel not too far from the city center (10 minutes from the train station), very pleasant rooms and staff. The only downside was the bathroom with yellowed grout and barely warm water (when you turn the hot water on full blast) for the evening shower.

The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the center in a quiet area. The room, on the first floor above the pool, was quiet, a bit small, but had more or less everything you need. The bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was large but a bit dated, with a bathtub that could be used as a shower. There was carpeting.
2 points that I did not like, - the evening stopovers are done through partners and you have to walk quite far. - parking is very complicated.
A very good accommodation in the city center/near
The only negative is lack of elevator. We had to drag suitcases up two flights of stairs.
Pleasant welcome. We particularly appreciated the calm. No traffic noise. Velux windows equipped with interior and exterior blinds which provide ideal darkness for sleeping well. Close to the Arena Reims and the city center, 15/20 minutes on foot. Thank you all for this pleasant experience.
A very friendly welcome. Due to the hotel's location (neighborhood), I had some reservations upon arrival, but those were completely unfounded. A secure parking garage was perfect for our car, including bikes on the rack. The room was recently renovated, neat and clean, and included a small refrigerator and kettle. The surrounding area was also quiet (quieter than the countryside where we stayed before). A comfortable 20-minute walk to the city center. Breakfast was excellent, thoughtfully and cheerfully prepared. For us, a perfect base for exploring Reims.

Prima hotel ik Reims. Op 15 minuten lopen van het centrum met restaurants en op 25 minuten lopen van de kathedraal. Fijn parkeren voor het hotel. Ideaal als je met een campertje reist en even een tussenstop wilt maken.

Onderaan de lavabo naast de douche deur is reeds gevorderde schimmel vorming. Dit ontdekte ik toevallig door iets te moeten oprapen.

We had a medium sized clean room and bathroom with access to pool and small garden. The breakfast was excellent with some of the best croissants we have ever eaten in France.
I booked based on reviews that rated it as an excellent hotel. Instead, I found a property with run-down rooms and a bad sewer smell. For breakfast, I had to leave the property and go to the one across the street. The breakfast was poor. My only positive aspect was the very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Everything else needs fixing.

Nice hotel. Booked based on trip advisor reviews. A bit of a walk into Reims - 20-25 minutes. Didn’t worry us and we knew this on booking. Quiet area. We booked parking which was under cover. Helpful guy on reception. Didn’t take his name. Bed was comfy. Room very clean and well appointed.

The hotel was welll located just a 1km walk to the centre.
We had a nice room with comfortable bed, air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities and a bath in the bathroom.
There was a pool (which we didn’t use) which was kept v clean by a robot cleaner. We paid a small (10e?) extra for secure parking although there was sufficient free parking in front of the building.
Breakfast was good (continental not full English but when in France….!)
All good, can thoroughly recommend and will stay again when we are in the area for the planned Champagne tour!

Friendly welcome, beautiful heated pool, super pleasant when you arrive by motorbike and it's hot. You can even have an aperitif there. Not very far from the center by bus (3 stops) or on foot 15-20 min. The main square is very touristy but in the small adjacent streets, there are nice little restaurants. Highly recommended

Room B32 had a broken toilet seat. Disappointed there were no hand towels, only bath towels. Paper cups to drink hot drinks from is not ideal, would have lived crock cups.

The welcome was friendly, the hotel was very clean, and it was nice to have a pool. We didn't use it, but there were plenty of other guests. The beds were comfortable, and we slept well. Due to the hotel's layout, the sounds resonate quite strongly, which bothered us quite a bit. Guests were also talking loudly late at night, which I don't really understand in an overnight hotel, since people are often traveling and get up early. The neighborhood where the hotel is located is somewhat shabby. Parking in a closed-off space is convenient, in a kind of hall with a large sliding door. This is a one-minute walk from the hotel. We stayed in room 2, downstairs. These rooms are located on a sort of gallery, a closed-off hallway with large windows, which directly borders the pool. There's one window in the room that can be opened, but you open it into a hallway, so you hear everything. The hallway does have windows that open to the outside, but you don't get direct fresh air. The bathroom has a rain shower and hairdryer. The extractor fan wasn't working, so we turned on the air conditioning, which works fine. Room (2p) is very small, approximately 12m2.

The location of the hotel is good, the staff is very friendly and the price/performance ratio is good.

Extra badlakens voor het zwembad. Voldoende parkeerruimte en goede voorzieningen voor de fietsen. Uitgebreid ontbijt met vers fruit, diverse broodsoorten en beleg. Perfecte locatie voor doorreizen maar ook voor de omgeving te bezoeken. Wij hebben prachtige fietstocht gemaakt in de groene corridor van Reims en champagne gedronken tegenover de Notre Dame.

This hotel is a great option for a stay in Reims. We needed somewhere withcar parking & this was a great option. Its a locally based hotel 20 mins walk from city centre - so best of both worlds. Facilities are great - the gatden terrace, pool and breakfast options are great .
The only downside was the decor in pur room was a little tired but it did not impact on pur comfort or enjoyment.
Fijn hotel met ruime slaap- en badkamer. Lekker rustig. De auto kan voor een kleine vergoeding (€ 8) in een hele grote goed afgesloten hal worden geparkeerd. De baliemedewerker spreekt zeer goed Engels en is zeer behulpzaam.

The most appreciable thing for me was the quietness of the establishment, located in a slightly out-of-the-way neighborhood of Reims, with little car traffic. The room had everything necessary, the bedding was good, and the breakfast was satisfactory.

Very nice to come in different buildings, which together make this hotel. Parking was fine and the electric charging went smoothly. Too bad they could not tell how the bus line went. In the end we figured it out ourselves.
It is a simple but good hotel. The hotel is located in a residential area outside the center. For us too far to walk to the center but we parked for a few hours in the middle of the center for 6 euros. The room (no. 3) was small and simple but everything is there. Air conditioning, safe, wide bed, rain shower and hand shower. We could park the car in a garage for 8 euros. The breakfast was good. Cold cuts, cheese, eggs, etc. and on arrival you could indicate how much pain au chocolat and / or croissants you wanted and they were of good quality. There is even a small swimming pool but that was still closed at the beginning of May.

The Hotel Au Tambour offers rooms with an excellent quality/price ratio. The breakfast (petit dejeuner) is something absolutely not to be missed. To all this, we must add the Consierge Mr Lucke who will solve every problem by making his high professionalism available. A kind and good person who will make you feel not as guests but as if you were at home.

Perfect room and welcome, big black mark on the first restaurant (La P'tite Cocotte) to avoid!! Purchases from the Metro, nothing is cooked. For a budget of 30€ for meals, it's expensive for ready-made, reheated food. Even with a 14cl glass of wine... Otherwise, everything went well
