Very happy with your establishment. My only complaint is the air conditioning system; even when switched off, it turns back on during the night, creating noise and heating the room beyond the desired temperature.
I stay in hotels very often and this establishment is certainly among the best, well done!
Very warm welcome, friendly and helpful staff, but a serious lack of heating in the rooms; we were very cold. A shame, because it's otherwise good value for money.

A perfect family stay. The room was very spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and it was close to Puy du Fou. The breakfast was varied and of good quality; I just missed having scrambled eggs (hard-boiled eggs were offered), but otherwise, it was perfect, nothing to complain about.
Hello, We've stayed at this hotel several times, and the staff are always attentive and very pleasant. The renovations to the reception area, restaurant, and bar have given it a more modern feel. However, we booked a standard room, implying that the refurbishment work hasn't been completed yet, except for the toilet and bathroom. Our only complaint is that there are stains on the curtains and the wall covering above the desk, which make it look very dirty and discourage us from returning. We eagerly await the renovation of these standard rooms. One last suggestion: installing electric vehicle charging stations ;-)

We spent three nights at this hotel and were delighted with our stay, thanks to the warm welcome, the comfortable room, and the cleanliness. My only slight reservation concerns the quality of the breakfast: I would have appreciated something local and homemade, but there was certainly plenty of variety and quantity.
On arrival the card for our room did not work and had to be changed. The receptionist then told us we could not have dinner in the hotel restaurant as we had not booked a table and it was full (she admitted there was nothing in the booking confirmation e-mail to say that booking was necessary).
As there were in fact a number of empty tables I spoke to the restaurant manager who (unlike his colleague on reception) was extremely helpful and agreed that the three of us would be able to dine providing we sat down soon. He and the waitress were both helpful, welcoming and efficient throughout, even though we were quite late and were by now the only ones in the restaurant. The presentation of the restaurant was very welcoming, with sparkling glassware and attractively-laid tables. Unusually for a hotel restaurant the food was excellent, and the wine recommended by the manager was very good.
Our room was clean and reasonably comfortable, but it was rather spartan and uninspiring although the bathroom was well equipped. The system of lifts was confusing, as two different lifts from our floor provided access to different parts of the hotel and there were no indications as to which was which. The receptionist on departure the next morning was more helpful.
We would happily stay here again. We chose this hotel mainly becaue of the very good reviews, but also because our original booking (at ACE Hotel Vendee Saint Hermine) wanted to charge us an excessive amount for accommodating our dog.

Comfortable hotel, conveniently located, with facilities for late-night arrivals. The room with a double bed is large, and the bathroom and toilet are separate. The staff is pleasant and friendly. The restaurant, both morning and evening, is very good. The price is reasonable considering the quality of the service.

Very good hotel, small downside on the pillows, not firm enough
We are regulars at this hotel which we like very much, however, it should urgently invest in high chairs for young children in the restaurant because every time we come, there is always the same one, which is broken and therefore very dangerous for our children, mine almost fell, and what's more, when there are several children, there are no more high chairs. So buy several quickly!
Bien, pas de fer a repasser, le baba au calvados n'avait pas de calvados (nous connaissons bien ce dessert que nous apprécions en général) ici immense deception c'était de l'eau litterallement sans aucun alcool ni même parfum et les cuisines n'ont pas été à lecoute pour venir gouter leur erreur et surtout la reparer, nous avons laissé les 2 baba (on avait pris tous le deux le même) sur place sans le manger , il nous ont ete facturés....., il faut etre plus a l ecoute du client c'est lui qui paie votre salaire, ici clairement une erreur de mélange double dose d eau au lieu de moitie ? calv et eau et meme pas de sucre dans le sirop, bref de leau................ vraiemebt pas bon. Le mignon de porc etait sans gout et bouilli, une déception également sans doute un préparation qui sert a faire deux plats mais la il manquait le sel, la sauce bref tout. Dommage laccueil et chambre bien.

Senior group stay in this hotel which is really good. All the participants particularly appreciated the quality of the rooms and the bedding. The size of the bathrooms, larger than what we usually see. Separate toilets and courtesy tray were a little extra. Good dinner with efficient and fast service. The proximity to Puy du Fou makes it an ideal stopover. The passenger drop-off near the entrance and the bus parking were perfect. Only small downsides: the welcome on Friday evening which was not very warm (receptionist not very friendly). As for the distribution of room cards, it went well. But remember to say both names when rooms are shared so that everyone knows who they are going with. There, only one person was called, which caused a bit of confusion. Finally, the big point for improvement is the coffee machines. 2 machines, which are very slow to fill a cup, are not suitable for a group of 50 people. It would be a good idea to consider bringing thermoses of coffee in these cases. Guaranteed to save time and improve efficiency for everyone! Once this point is improved, this hotel will really be top notch! In any case, we highly recommend it to other senior groups! Perfect for your stay at Puy du Fou (15-minute bus ride).

The reception was a bit long because there was only one person to manage the reception and the bar. You were asked to get dressed after the swimming pool, except that there was no changing room.

Very good value for money. Criticism: -> Small quantities in the restaurant -> Bar closes at 10:00 p.m. - the lights are turned off at 10:00 p.m. sharp, the staff looks at their watches and just wants customers to leave the restaurant or bar and go to their rooms!

When booking online on the hotel's website, we were directly offered a superior room even though there were still classic rooms available. This is not normal.

Restaurant not up to standard, we expect better on our plates and in addition we ask for a drink marked on the menu the waiter tells us that he no longer has it because since he no longer sells it he no longer buys it to save money and so I suggest he remove it from the menu and he tells me that 40 photocopies to change in 40 menus that is too expensive for photocopies in short I then tell him that he just has to cross off the "grapefruit" drink to be more professional, the way it happened was not pleasant too much arrogance, with a smile it always goes down better. We were satisfied with the room, however the mattress was deformed and the bottom of the bathtub was broken. It lacks a small refrigerator. We went to the restaurant for dinner but found the service too fast.
We had a room with all the necessary comforts. The menu offers a nice variety of dishes. The staff was courteous and professional.

Big disappointment for the restaurant whose quality of dishes is not at all up to the Logis Hotels label. The names of the dishes are bombastic and what we were brought was not good. The team provides efficient and quality service, however.
We stayed 2 nights in a renovated triple room. The room was very functional and modern. A big thank you to the cleaning ladies for the cleanliness of the place which is at the top level as well as their great kindness. Very beautiful terrace overlooking the swimming pool where you can enjoy your meals. The cuisine is simple and tasty, with a very positive note regarding the value for money of the lunch meals, as well as the breakfast buffet.
À 15mins du puy du fou, on n’a pas hésité. Piscine excellente moment de détente avant de manger. Qualité des plats pour le prix (rien à dire).. chambre familiale pour 4 propre et j’ai adoré la salle de bain douche italienne tout neuve.

Friendly welcome and helpful staff. Decent breakfast, but the bedding needs replacing. Sewer smell in the hallway and room too. It's way too expensive for a bad night's sleep: €160 per night with breakfast.
Good location, especially for getting to Puy du Fou, a 15-minute drive away. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The decor could, however, be improved and made warmer, especially in the restaurant. The service, however, is not up to par. The staff is not very pleasant and welcoming, and not professional. A real shame! Not all the dishes in the restaurant are of the same standard. The starter is really not great, but the main course is very good.
Sur votre site pour la réservation, pour moi la chambre junior suite double, était attenante à chambre supérieure double, ce qui paraît normal pour une chambre junior. Il serait peut être souhaitable de présenter cette chambre autrement même si je reconnais qu'il aurait été préférable que je prenne ma réservation par téléphone.
En arrivant des Herbiers, l'accès à l'hôtel ( par la rue de la primetiere) n'est pas facile à repérer, surtout de nuit. Si l'on rate cet accès, il faut aller jusqu'au mont des Allouettes, pour faire demi tour. On ne peut pas couper la route en face l'hôtel.
Too bad for the ground floor rooms which overlook the parking lot, quite noisy with the passing delivery trucks and glass containers in the morning, not possible to open the window for fear of intrusion. That said, comfortable triple room and we appreciate the "real" bed for the 3rd person

3 nights spent in this hotel near Puy du Fou. On the first night, we reported that the fridge wasn't working. NOTHING WAS DONE TO CHANGE IT even though we had scorching temperatures and we would have liked to have a cold drink. Too bad! An endless wait in the morning at breakfast when a bus is there

Happy on arrival, perplexed, even disappointed on departure... A problem with the water drain from the bathtub in one room, which, of course, can happen... But once the repair was carried out, my son was asked not to wet the seal when showering or bathing, as it was not dry... not easy!!! Wouldn't it have been more commercial to suggest a change of room? Upon departure, presentation of the bill for the 4 dinners... 4 menus at 35.50 However, there were only 2 menus at 35.50€, the other 2 meals were only composed of 2 starters and a dessert each, so 14+10+8 = 32€ twice, i.e. a difference of 3.50x2 = 7€... Here too, a mistake can happen to anyone... I myself made a mistake, only reporting 6€... The person at reception went to get a colleague and I was therefore reimbursed, 6€, The whole scene took place without a smile, without a word of apology... and visibly, without having really checked the amount of the error... Surprise also: RESTAURANT SUPPLEMENT 4€x3, i.e. 12 € ???? That is to say ?????

Very nice hotel and we were well received
The only small downside is the late hour for collecting the rooms (4 p.m.) and having to vacate them by 11 a.m. It would be better to be able to take possession of them at 3 p.m. and return them at 12 p.m. the next day, something that happens in many other establishments, otherwise the stay was perfect.
We arrived from the theme park at night, and everything was perfectly organized. They had sent me an email a few days before and we had no problems at all.
The Aloé Hotel is very pleasant. Well located, it allows you to reach Puy du Fou in 20 minutes. Organized into two buildings, a large part of which has been renovated. Each room offers all the comforts one would expect for this type of establishment. In addition, they are not very noisy. The rooms are on two floors of each building. I advise you to request a room overlooking the garden/pool in the completely renovated corridors. The common areas are pleasant; a swimming pool, a bar, a restaurant, a gym. The breakfast is generous and of high quality: it is a buffet offering a wide variety of savory and sweet products. Everyone will find something to their liking. For a leisurely lunch before going to Puy du Fou, you should arrive before 7:15 a.m. Finally, the staff is welcoming and professional. In short, a good place to recommend.

Il manque un frigo dans la chambre. De plus j'ai réservé une chambre triple et seule une petite bouteille d'eau est offerte. C'est dommage.
L'accès a l'hôtel a été compliqué du a tes travaux et course de vélo. 45 min pour revenir du puy du fou.
L'organisation de l'hôtel est particulière avec deux ascenseurs a prendre.
Sinon chambre très propre et confortable au niveau du lit principal. Les banquettes sont molles. La piscine est vraiment agréable. Le personnel adorable.

We spent 2 nights in this beautiful, modern hotel, close to Puy du Fou. The rooms are quite large with walk-in shower, sink and separate toilet. The bedding is excellent. The breakfast is royal with a very wide variety of breads, brioches, pastries and savory dishes of very good quality.

Overall decent stay, but several areas for improvement We stayed at your establishment to visit Puy du Fou, and while the overall experience was decent, there were some areas that we felt needed improvement. Upon arrival, we were somewhat surprised to be reminded that check-in was only from 4 p.m., when it was actually only 3:45 p.m. A little more tact would have been appreciated, especially after traveling a long way. Fortunately, our room was ready. Regarding the layout, we would have preferred the extra beds to be folded up before our arrival. As they were, they obstructed access to the window and its curtains, and made the armchairs unusable. This is also what prompted us to book a superior room rather than a standard room. During our stay, there was some confusion regarding room maintenance: at our request, the wet towels were changed, and the bed was remade. On the other hand, the dirty cups from the previous evening were not removed, and a full cleaning was not done. We were told that, having only requested a change of towels, this justified the lack of cleaning. We understand the management constraints of many rooms, but a more precise clarification of the service options would have avoided this misunderstanding. Regarding the services: The pool was not heated as advertised, which was disappointing. The €12.50 breakfast is adequate, but the absence of scrambled eggs and bacon is a bit lacking. For €15, these elements could be included and would make the offer more complete. The service in the restaurant was friendly, and the dishes satisfactory. As for the rooms, we believe that a minimum should be provided for courtesy products: a bottle of water per day and a few coffee/tea capsules, especially in a superior room. A small 33 cl bottle is really light. Why not remove the candy and offer a slightly larger bottle instead? This would give a more generous impression. In summary: the location is excellent, just 10 minutes from Puy du Fou, which is a major asset. For a short stay of 2-3 days, the hotel remains a good option. However, a few simple adjustments could make the difference to fully achieve the level of comfort expected of a 3-star hotel.

Very nice hotel in which we had a very pleasant stay. Only one very negative point: the breakfast is very poorly organized and the waiting time at peak times is much too long. Too bad because it is simply an organizational problem. Moving the two drinks points to the other end of the buffet would solve the problem. Apart from this point, the establishment is very clean with a swimming pool and tennis court. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.
Very well located and very nice hotel. We were on the ground floor and unfortunately we had nauseating odors in the room but especially in the bathroom that we had also noticed when arriving in the corridor leading to our room. Fortunately we were only there to sleep and we only stayed very little at the hotel. Afterwards we found the solution by closing the bathroom door at night but well... It's a shame. Afterwards it's really the only negative point. On the other hand, a small improvement to be made when there are groups of tourists, provide a third coffee machine to streamline the service and so that we don't end up with a 20 minute queue in the corridor.

Excellent value for money. Its location about ten kilometers from Puy du Fou is an asset, as is the proximity to the amenities of the town of Les Herbiers. The room is comfortable, quiet, well-equipped, and the bathroom is spotlessly clean. One small detail will still need to be reviewed: the paint is peeling on the window side. The staff is available and SMILING, which is rather remarkable in these times... Overall, I am delighted with my stay in this hotel and I highly recommend it.

A very nice hotel close to Puy du Fou (10-15 min). Perfect for families like ours with the possibility of a quadruple room. The bedding is good quality, the bathroom is spacious and renovated and the breakfast is very varied with the option of having it on the terrace. Very late arrivals are possible and communication is easy by phone or email. A really good choice for those spending several days at Puy du Fou!

An excellent stay at this hotel with excellent value for money. The location is ideal, just minutes from Puy du Fou. The staff is welcoming, and we had a great meal at the hotel's restaurant. The junior suite was spacious, clean, and well-appointed; the only slight downside was that there was no colander or safe. That said, we recommend this establishment and will happily return.

This hotel is run like an Accor group hotel rather than a proper "lodging." My dinner reservation request was ignored, so there was no table on the evening of our arrival, and we had to ask reception for milk, bread, and fruit juice for breakfast because there was no staff to replenish the buffet. Only the room was comfortable, and the location was ideal for going to Puy du Fou.

Well located 15 minutes from Puy du Fou, easily accessible, this hotel is clean and well kept but very impersonal, without decoration, without soul, the staff is polite and professional but without empathy and very distant. The welcome tray in the rooms is very minimalist, 2 tea bags for 3 people, only one mini bottle of water. Lack of table or work surface large enough to sit with a laptop. At the restaurant, the quality was uneven depending on the dishes, a veal fillet requested medium and served rare, a very disappointing lemon meringue pie, entirely industrial. Overall, an okay experience but nothing more given the 3 stars displayed.

Mauvais rapport qualité prix. Force est de constaté que les 3 étoiles se trouvent uniquement sur la devanture. La chambre est vieillotte et mal isolée avec le bruit de la route qui passe juste à côté même la nuit, certains endroits n’ont pas eu le plaisir de voir un aspirateur ou un chiffon depuis longtemps visiblement. L’ascenseur ne met pas en confiance. L’accueil et lenrestaurant sont très beaux. Les repas servis au restaurant sont bons mais clairement les assiettes ne sont pas bien pleines, un peu de salade en accompagnement ne ferai pas de mal. Son seul vrai atout être à 15 minutes du Puy du Fou.

Tout était très bien. Chambre rénovée, accueil professionnel, petit déjeuner varié et très bon dîner dans le restaurant de l’hôtel.
Seul petit bémol, nous avons failli prendre notre petit-déjeuner debout par manque de place. Heureusement, une table s’est libérée au bon moment.

Tout a été parfait, j'ai vraiment passé un bon séjour professionnel durant 2 nuits.

J'ai une seule remarque à faire, c'est le pommeau de douche qui n'est pas du tout du standing de l'hôtel. C'est vraiment dommage car ça gâche un peu l'expérience ...

j'ai aimé la rénovation des salle de bains.
Par contre le pommeau de douche est assurément efficace pour la réduction d'utilisation d'eau mais pour être un peu prêt confortable, j'ai du mettre la puissance au maximum et la température au maximum.
le pommeau souffle de l'air qui fait une sensation de froid très désagréable en se douchant.
Par ailleurs une remarque de ma collègue feminine, pouquoi le pommeau de couleur noir très vite avec le calcaire il va devenir blanc.
Si vous pouviez avoir du pain ou crackers sans gluten à la demande cela serait un plus. (la durée de conservation est relativement longue sur les crakers).
