Excellent in every way, dinner, room, breakfast perfect
+ Comfortable beds + Quiet surroundings + Possibility to park bicycles under cover - The toilets were not clean upon arrival - Musty smell - Missing a shower curtain in the bathtub - There is only one trash can in the room - The room was not perfectly clean - A fruit salad at breakfast could be a good improvement - The arrangement of the tables and the breakfast buffet is not optimal - Lack of caffeinated coffee for the coffee machine
Always a warm welcome. The restaurant offers good, creative cuisine and the breakfast is exceptional. Comfortable bedding. The peace and quiet of the place and the surroundings are very appreciable. I highly recommend it.
Quiet home with welcoming people
We stayed three nights at this establishment, which stands out for the helpfulness and friendliness of its owners and staff. Ideally located in the center, it offers a peaceful environment for exploring the Cotentin region. The restaurant offers a unique menu every evening created by the chef using fresh produce, some of which comes directly from the vegetable garden. We plan to return.
Very nice place, nice room and friendly staff.
The dinner was excellent but the service was too slow: an hour of waiting to get in. As for the hotel part, the cleanliness of the carpet in the room and the hallway left something to be desired. The room was poorly soundproofed. The bathroom in the neighboring room was right next to ours, so we felt like the neighbors were showering in our bathroom. Furthermore, the garden and the house have a lot of charm.
This place is truly a little corner of paradise. The place is extremely charming and quiet. The rooms are spacious. The bedding disappointed me a little, I think it is not very recent and my back prefers a harder mattress. Regarding the restaurant it is really THE strong point of this place, refined cuisine, local products, truly excellent. The breakfast was also very good, I loved the orange juice squeezed by me and the little plums straight from the garden. The staff is really friendly, approachable and available. A place that I highly recommend, to do at least once.

A peaceful place, this hotel nestled in the ponds of the Cotentin where Chef Mike serves you his homemade cuisine between French and English traditions. It is pure homemade juice made with local products as for breakfast.

We were looking for somewhere close to Cherbourg on the night before our ferry to Ireland but which was a little bit special because it was our wedding anniversary. This hotel surpassed our expectations - beautiful, peaceful and delicious food. Wonderfully comfort bed too. I hope we will return.
everything is perfect
Everything was of a very, very high standard. The restoration is top-notch, combining tradition and creativity with great finesse. Hats off!! But: - no elevator - limited bathroom layout (no shower screen over the bathtub, no shower)
Heading back to Cherbourg to catch the ferry, this was a perfect place to stop. Not only was it a wonderful way to end a holiday, with a superb evening meal, it also provided us with a great breakfast before the hour's drive to the port.
Attractive looking hotel set in the countryside. Compact room. Parking available. Has restaurant but no menu choice just set menu of the day. No bottled water in the room.
