Always a warm welcome. Pleasant reception. Very quiet place. I recommend it.
A very calm and restful night in this hotel, with a large room and very comfortable bedding. An address I will keep and recommend!
The rooms were very nice. The welcome was great! However, the breakfast wasn't substantial or of good quality. A shame! The exterior needs some work.
The room was undecorated, cold, and austere. The bathroom was large but empty. There was no cozy atmosphere. It smelled damp. However, the welcome and service were excellent. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was basic, simple, and efficient.
The rooms are not very soundproof! The surroundings leave a little to be desired.
Very basic, breakfast very basic too, a short drive to the town with decent restaurants, won’t stay again but it served its purpose as a one night stopover

It was a nice stay with good beds, great shower and very clean. Very nice receptioniste and staff.
The only thing I missed is a small refridgerator and some coffee and tea facilities.
Breakfast was a little bit scanty with no ham or cheese and no fruit.
But overall a nice and comfortable stay

What we liked best was the simple of the place. We are older and long for the past. The people we met were wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Very nice!

Good hotel where we go regularly during our stays in Verdun: well located and easy to access.
We were welcomed by very friendly & kind english speaking receptionist. Hotel is spacious, so as rooms and bathroom. Lots of clean towels provided, comfortable beds. Linen is a bit plastic, but we only stayed for one night so it wasn't too bad. Everything was tidy & clean.
Good value for money
Das 3 Bett Zimmer im ersten Stock war groß und sauber, ebenso das Bad.
Das Hotel liegt an einer Hauptstraße, wir konnten nur bei geschlossenen Fenstern schlafen.
Das Frühstück war einfach, Marmelade, Honig etc in Plastik verpackt. Keine Eier oder Obst aber naturjoghurt!
Insgesamt könnte es etwas günstiger sein...

Too bad there is no air conditioning in the rooms, and that the breakfast is only sweet. Good communication with the staff and well-located establishment.

Hotel where we spent one night with 7 people. Ideal location and close to the place where we spent the evening. This establishment deserves a refresh and some work, especially soundproofing. Unpleasant to hear people from a bus arriving at 1 a.m. without being very quiet. Same in the morning, at 7:30 a.m. The room would be more pleasant with blackout curtains and a lighter duvet, especially in summer. As for breakfast, what was offered was generally okay but would be even better with some savory items, fruit, etc. The value for money is good.
Is a very unpleasant hotel
Good value but we visited during a very hot time and the lack of Air Conditioning was a bity of a challenge
2-star hotel with good value for money, decent breakfast but with supermarket products (yogurt, jam, compote are industrial). Only the croissant and bread are probably local. Comfortable bed, clean shower, quality welcome, attentive staff. It's a shame that the wall at the entrance has collapsed and the shutters are rusty: this gives a bad first impression.
This hotel is in dire need of a refresh...; shutters, floor covering, paint, breakfast terrace in poor condition, burnt flower pots, I also think that air conditioning in the rooms would not be a luxury..., the cleaning in the bathroom leaves something to be desired; mold in the shower tray, limescale on the taps and leaks... the breakfast is very basic: no salty products. However, here are the positive points: I would like to thank the young person at reception: very friendly and professional. The soundproofing of the rooms.

Good value for money for this well-located hotel in Verdun
There is no elevator and the stairs are still difficult for elderly people with luggage.
1. the agreed room, and then checked by phone call, was changed upon my arrival for another, without ever having been notified 2. The partitions and doors (corridor-bedroom and bathroom-bedroom) are not soundproofed: this is a rare indecency.
J'apprécie beaucoup le caractère authentique du bâtiment (persiennes comprises) et l'amabilité du personnel. C'est simple, mais il y a tout ce qu'il faut.
Là où j'ai un bémol, c'est que les chambres ne sont pas insonorisées (cela exigerait peut-être des travaux qui nuiraient au caractère historique du bâtiment et à son authenticité), et comme en plus les parois sont plutôt minces, il faut que les hôtes prennent vraiment sur eux de faire le minimum de bruit. Cela n'a pas été le cas pendant mon séjour, avec un groupe de jeunes Allemands particulièrement bruyant, également après 22 heures (ils s'endormaient quand même un peu après minuit, heureusement !).
Par ailleurs, je n'ai pas compris pourquoi le WC attenant à la salle du petit déjeuner n'était pas accessible : une pancarte nous demandait d'utiliser la salle de bains dans notre chambre. Très bien, mais alors il faut prévoir de remonter dans la chambre chaque matin après le petit déj et avant de sortir en ville, et penser à laisser sur la porte la pancarte "Ne pas déranger" pour ne pas se retrouver nez à nez avec le personnel de nettoyage quand on revient dans la chambre. Ce n'est pas ce qu'il y a de plus pratique.

Very warm welcome. Breakfast is all you can eat, so it's very good. The beds are very comfortable. However, the hotel isn't very soundproof; I felt like there was an elephant moving around on the floor above. This is also about respecting everyone, and it was very early, fortunately not at night. Very good
The hotel is well-suited for travelers who are on the go all day and need an affordable place to stay. The room was quiet (at the back), and the bed was very comfortable. Both the room and the bathroom are very compact and functionally furnished. Those arriving by car will find ample parking. The hotel is located somewhat peripherally in a relatively quiet neighborhood.
